Private one-on-one coaching

Work directly with Brett.

Focused, personal coaching for men navigating layoff, career change, and the larger questions that come with major life transitions.

Who coaching is for

Men navigating real transitions.

I work with business owners, executives, founders, and senior professionals who are at a genuine inflection point — navigating a layoff, reconsidering a career direction, dealing with a significant personal change, or recognizing that this next chapter calls for a different approach to life and work.

You don't need to be unemployed. Many of my clients begin coaching while still working — using the time to think carefully about what comes next before a transition forces the decision.

Areas of work

The work of coaching.

Coaching focuses on decisions, direction, and accountability — not on diagnosing or treating psychological conditions. Here are the areas we commonly work on together:

The process

How a coaching engagement works.

1
Introductory conversation — 30 minutes, complimentary

Have a conversation.

We discuss where you are, what you're working through, and whether coaching is the right fit. No obligation.

2
Agree on structure

Agree on priorities and structure.

If we decide to work together, we establish what you're trying to accomplish and set up an engagement that makes sense.

3
Ongoing work

Regular sessions and ongoing accountability.

We meet consistently to work on what matters, review progress, and adjust as your situation evolves.

Investment

Private coaching terms.

Private coaching is $9,000 for a six-month engagement. I work with a small number of clients at a time, which means you have my full attention.

Specific terms — including payment structure and any questions about the engagement — are discussed during the introductory conversation. If you'd like to ask about terms before scheduling, the inquiry form below is the right place to start.

FAQ

Common questions.

Who is this coaching for?

Men in midlife navigating a career or life transition — layoff, career change, a desire for more purpose, or a personal change that's prompted them to reconsider their direction. You don't need to have lost a job to benefit. Many of my clients are still employed.

Can I work with Brett while still employed?

Yes. Many of my clients begin coaching while they are still working — using the time to think clearly about what they want next before a transition forces the decision.

Do sessions take place online?

Yes. Sessions are conducted by video call.

What happens during the introductory conversation?

We spend 30 minutes talking about where you are, what you're navigating, and what you'd like to accomplish. There's no obligation and no pitch. If coaching seems like a good fit, we can talk about what that would look like.

What does coaching cost?

Private coaching is $9,000 for a six-month engagement. Questions about payment structure and specific terms are best discussed during the introductory conversation, or you can ask in advance through the inquiry form below.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching focuses on goals, decisions, and forward movement — not on diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. If what you're navigating includes significant anxiety, depression, or grief, a therapist may be a better fit, or a complement to coaching. I'm glad to discuss that openly during our conversation.
